Chainlink (LINK) supports Ethereum’s Gitcoin infrastructure development

Decentralized oracle network Chainlink is participating in Gitcoin Grants Round 8 development of the in-demand Ethereum infrastructure project, as it announces support for the project.

The crypto community has lauded this development, as so many believe both the Ethereum (ETH) and Chainlink (LINK) projects need to complement each other to grow and develop in the industry.

Chainlink and Ethereum can complement each other

As a decentralized oracle network, Chainlink has always claimed to have the capacity of solving the issues the Ethereum platform has had. There have been lots of arguments and counter-arguments about which is better between Chainlink and Ethereum. Followers of these platforms have even pitted themselves against each other, as they argue constantly about the feasibility of each of the platforms.

But with the support of Chainlink on Ethereum’s project, a member of the community has pointed out that the argument about superiority will be put to bed.

Some of the experts and market analysts are hoping that both platform s will play a complementary role in the market, which will be more beneficial to users and the entire crypto community. Chainlink’s development team released a statement, showing the platform’s readiness to move o the next level.

 “We remain committed to the continued growth of the Ethereum ecosystem”, the team said, adding that it’s the reason for the support of the Gitcoin Grants 8 project.

It’s the goal of the development team to participate in the funding of community-selected projects that focus on the improvement of Ethereum infrastructure, Chainlink’s development team reiterated.

Additionally, Chainlink said its support for Gitcoin is another proof that it wants the collaboration of both platforms to ensure improved growth of both company’s infrastructure, which will become beneficial to the community.

Sustainability of the Ethereum infrastructure

The project will make everyone see Ethereum as one that is openly accessible and quite capable of underpinning advanced smart contract applications.

Furthermore, Chainlink will be donating funds to the Gitcoin Grants Round 8 project, to complement the donor contributions from individuals on popular projects.

Ethereum’s open-source infrastructure is very important for the sustainability of the Ethereum ecosystem. Presently, about 1821 contributors and more than 49,000 DAI are linked with the Gitcoin Grants Round 8 project.
